Ser att Junland redan är ute och svingar mot Julien och att han kommer ha svårt med hastigheten i SHL p.g.a. storleken. Att Julien säsongen 21/22 nästan var på samma nivå som McDavid och var snabbare än både MacKinnon och Draisaitl verkar han ha missat.

Är så klart inte synonymt med succé för det. Men lite koll på spelarna man kritiserar borde man väl ha kan jag tycka.

The Rangers don't have any other player who can carry the puck in transition like him and create a breakaway for himself, seemingly whenever he wants. It's kind of unbelievable. Everyone wants to complain about his defense but for a 4th line player, the goal is to be really good at transitioning the puck as far away from your goalie as possible and maintain possession while the top line gets a break. Gauthier does that extremely well, which is why I don't care that he can't actually finish the plays. He doesn't need to in order to be an effective player. He's also literally the best penalty drawer on the team. #1 in penalties drawn per 60. For a team that is absolutely horrible at scoring 5v5 and lives and dies by the power play, you need to play your best penalty drawer. It's very important.

He's also 2nd on the team in hits/60, just barely behind Reaves, so there's your grit

If you get him an actual skills coach instead of the current heads of player development of Jed Ortmeyer and Tanner Glass, then you could probably create a bottom 6 forward capable of putting up ~15 goals in approximately 11-12 min of TOI per game which is pretty good"

Verkar vara mer än lite för bra för shl med undantag för att karln är kass på att göra mål och inte listat ut hur man slår en pass än. Vill vi bara få upp pucken i anfallzon och hänga där sä är han nog rätt fantastisk.

Gavve: Många tidigare spelare är ju uppenbart dåligt pålästa. En sån som Axelsson sitter i en podd och recenserar massa matcher som han inte har sett, och de som bedömer spelare som i detta fall är ju ofta oförmögna att ens göra okej research på basics om spelarna som de sitter och har (ogrundade) åsikter om. Just därför är det ju så läskigt att den här typen av personer kan ges enormt stort sportsligt inflytande i klubbar tack vare sitt namn och interna kontakter.
