By using the recording buffer Screamer Radio continually stores the stream data in memory so you can start recording in the middle of the song and still save the entire song to disk! The recording buffer is automatically used when you are listening to MP3 and Ogg Radio stations so all you have to do is push Record and it's "automagically" saved to your harddrive. Because of the way things work the recording buffer is mostly useful when recording an MP3 or Ogg Vorbis stream that has metadata support.
